Summer Programs

Opportunities for OHS Students Only

Ogden High School (OHS) will be hosting a summer learning program that will consist of two pathways; Academic Credit Recovery and 4th Quarter Extension

These pathways were specifically designed to support students who may have been impacted by school dismissal and as such; students will work closely with assigned teacher and counselor mentors and receive face-to-face targeted support.

Students in the OHS summer learning program will also be invited to attend our Summer Support Cafe on an as needed basis. This open house style center will be open Mon. - Thurs. for students to check-in with their teachers, receive tutoring, set goals, get focused work done in a quiet environment, and utilize a stable internet connection. Additionally, all students in the OHS summer learning program who do not currently have a personal device at home will be issued a Chromebook for their summer learning needs.

Secondary Math Summer Learning

Secondary Math Summer Learning (9th - 12th Grade)

Ogden School District’s Secondary Math Summer Program offers online, teacher-directed Canvas courses designed to help students recover credits in Secondary Math 1, 2, or 3 and acquire the necessary foundational skills needed to be successful in future math courses. Attending the Ogden School District Secondary Math Summer Program will prepare students to be successful in next year’s math courses and be on track for high school graduation.

Three separate two-week sessions will be offered this summer. Students will be able to earn 0.25 credits of math recovery each session. All sessions will be delivered online through Canvas, with required daily video instruction and check-ins with the teacher.
