Opportunities for OHS Students Only

 

Secondary Math, ELA, and Science Summer Learning (10th - 12th Grade)

Ogden High’s Secondary Summer School offers courses designed to help students recover credits in any previously failed core class and acquire the necessary foundational skills needed to be successful in future courses. 

Time: 8:30 AM - 12:30 PM
Days: Monday – Thursday
Dates: June 7 - July 15
Grades: 10-12
Delivery Method: Face-to-Face at OHS
Cost: Free for Ogden High Students

Academic Credit Recovery (10th-12th grade)

The Credit Recovery pathway will be for those students who did not receive a passing grade in any non ELA, Math, or Science core class prior to the 4th term of the 20-21 school year. These students will engage in course recovery work to make-up for previously failed courses.

Time: 8:30 AM - 12:30 PM
Days: Monday – Thursday
Dates: June 7 - July 15
Grades: 10-12

Utah Online School (10th - 12th Grade)

Ogden High Students have the opportunity to enroll in any Utah Online Course free of charge. All coursework will be completed online through a learning management system facilitated by Utah Online School. Students who are interested should contact their OHS counselor to sign up.

Time: Roughly 3 hrs. daily
Days: Work at your own pace 
Dates: June 7th - July 27th
Grades: 10 - 12
Delivery Method: Virtual
Cost: Free for Ogden High Students


Sophomore Transition (9th Grade)

Are you going to be in 10th grade at OHS next year? Then come and learn about high school!! This 3-day event features breakouts taught by OHS teachers which will assist you in being ready for high school! There will also be fun activities such as get to know you games, as you meet other sophomores and senior mentors called Tiger Guides. Each participant will get a tour of the OHS historical building so you will be able to navigate yourself around the school before school starts. You will also meet the OHS administration, counselors, and studentbody officers. This event will help give you the tools and connections to make your first year in high school successful! Plus, everything is FREE!  Register deadline is August 4. 

Time: 8:30 AM - 11:30 AM
Days: Wednesday, Thursday, Friday
Dates: August 11 - 13
Grades: 9th grade
Delivery Method: Face-to-Face at OHS
Cost: Free for incoming 10th OHS students
